Explore the randomness and hidden art of the number π (pi). A circle of 360 degrees is split into 10 different stepping directions and each digit of π defines its own step direction. Two tiny markers show where the path starts and ends. The color conveys where the walk started, walked past and ended, from yellow at the start running through pinks, reds, blues, purples and ending with green.
This version shows the first 100,000 digits of π.
This limited edition doesn't only show the path of π, but also has the 100,000 digits themselves printed in a grid (row by row) in the background. I have an artist proof up on my own wall and checked that they are readable (from up close).
Limited edition of 100 (and one artist proof).
